About Us

Our History

Taiwanese American Association of Tallahassee was established on August 25, 2006 with 27 members. TAA was then registered with Department of State, State of Florida on October 13, 2006. Currently there are 75 active members.

Our Mission

Taiwanese American Association of Tallahassee is a non-profit organization. We are creating an opportunity for everybody from all over the world to know us, to encourage all Taiwanese friends to interact and understand each other, and to inspire the harmony and hope to improve the quality of our community life in the North Florida and South Georgia areas.
Note: We are always in need of volunteers, donations, materials for our planned activities, and any ideas to improve our organization.

Our Chair

Carl Huang, born in the Year of Rooster, married with two beautiful daughters. A big time sport and Seminole fan. Enjoy running, reading and writing. Volunteer to promote Taiwanese cultures to American friends. Always upbeat and always smiling. Enjoy making friends and providing assistance to everyone. His favorite songs are "Expecting Spring Breeze" and "Amazing Grace".

Annual Membership Fee: $20.00 per family and $5.00 per student
Please mail your TAA membership registration form and the membership fee to Taiwanese American Association, 2945 Compton Way , Tallahassee FL. 32309-6813.
Note: Membership dues every August.
